allow more than one suggestion

One of the forum users suggested I go to this secret site where Logos users vote on suggestions. Well, I've had suggestions bottled up for years, and yes, I've put them on the forum, but not on this secret site.
Well, anyway, I made a suggestion, and then I wanted to make another one, and it wouldn't let me. My votes or something were used up, though I could vote on someone else's suggestion.
Hey, anybody who is serious about looking for suggestions is not going to limit them. Very disappointed. I like Logos, but I get a little frustrated with some things.

Is this the error message you are getting?
[quote]You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.
If so, you need to redistribute your votes ... i.e. take some votes from projects you like to use to create new requests.

That's the message. I don't recall placing any votes, and if I did, it was only a few, years ago.
My point is that anybody who really wants suggestions isn't going to limit them. Heck, the person with the most suggestions might be the smartest person on the block. Not me, but somebody else.
This tells me they're not really serious about suggestions. Keep the users happy by letting them think they might have some input on the product.

Unfortunately, you picked the wrong person to try that unjustified interpretation on as I was one who pushed long and hard for Logos to adopt a UserVoice type approach to suggestions. At the time it was implemented, it was one of the better inexpensive products available. That is no longer true but I have no idea what the cost to Faithlife would be if they switched to another platform. Newer systems less often have limits on the number of votes.

I’m sorry the Uservoice site has some limitations, but I’m certain that FL cares about user input.
One of the best experiences of this is when they invite users to early access of a product before a rollout. Although not all suggestions do get implemented, I know FL does actively listen to, and make changes based on user input.
Once L9 is released, I think many of us will be very happy at the number of wishes FL was able to make happen.
Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

I don't fully understand your comments, but I think you missed mine too.
Hey, voting is nice, but limiting the voting to ten, and then, what, move your votes around if you used them up? Like I said to another user here, it's like telling Thomas Edison, Now, Thomas, you're only allowed to patent ten inventions. Give other people a chance to invent things.

No, I didn't miss your point, I simply didn't think it necessary to explicitly disagree. I personally am not fond of the 10 vote approach but I certainly understand why it may be necessary. If you are trying to prioritize your users' priorities, you first must force them to determine their own priorities. Saying I eventually want it all doesn't help prioritize the work. Saying these are my personal top 10 ... with perhaps some so important I list them more than once (multiple votes) does help prioritize the work.
And no, it isn't like limiting the number of inventions ... I have way more than 10 suggestions and have spent some votes on suggestions not my own. I simply keep moving my 10th vote around to always be able to add a new suggestion.

userVoice remembers votes placed for years, which can be a bit frustrating when all 10 votes are used when a new worthwhile suggestion appears (keep voting for previous worthwhile one OR transfer to newer one).

+1 [Y] not fond of 10 vote limit (so my feedback on UserVoice also shows more than 10 suggestions) so can dream about more votes per user (e.g. 20 is ~1 % of overall uncompleted suggestion count) OR improving suggestion feedback desirability to Faithlife Development.
