Changed computers, lost my personal books
Good day,
I am using Logos 7 and recently change computers. It seems that the names of my Personal Books are still there, but the files are missing. The location of my books points to an old file. Is there a way to add my entire library without doing it one at a time. No, the books were not uploaded after they were originally installed.

Kaleb, welcome to the Forums (your post count is "1", but your familiarity with "uploaded" make me think you're an experienced user).
For the benefit of others who stumble across the thread - I save all my Personal Book files in a folder in Google Drive, OneDrive or DropBox so that when I change computers and reconnect to those online services I just install the Cloud app and the path is the same so it is simple to rebuild the books that are not uploaded to Faithlife's server.

Thanks, That is correct. I have been using Logos since 2014. I also have them in google drive, but they got moved and now the link to the Google drive is different. I was hoping there was a setting in Logos to point to that new google drive folder.

When you say you have your personal books on a Google Drive, do you mean the source documents made in MS Word (with the extension docx) or the compiled form made by Logos (with the extension lbspbb)?
If you have access to the compiled books, you can just scan the directory that has them using the Logos application.
If you only have access to the source files, you will have to re-compile them on the new computer.
Because this is a drag, I had a USB drive with my compiled PB's for a while - and now have them all backed up on a home file-server.

Anyone know where the PB's are stored? I had to re-compile them, but now thinking I would like to make a back up of these. Do you know what there files are? "_.lbspbb"?

The default place is C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Logos\Data\RandomFigures\ResourceManager\Resources
where UserName is your username on that computer and RandomFigures is some odd 8.3 name that Logos came up with when it was installed on your computer. And then, yes, the compiled files have the extension .lbspbb.
I am an old command line nerd, so I make a command prompt. Go to the directory in question. Go to the Z drive for my network server. Go to the directory where I want the backups. Type copy c:*lbspbb z:

There is one fair reason to recompile all PBB on the new computer.
By re-compiling them you are sure the you have all of the source files on the new computer while you still have access to the old one computer.

Kaleb, it is also handy to let Logos upload them to the cloud. After completing book, I go back and edit it, and then tell it to upload.
Just installed Logos on a new computer and Logos automatically downloaded my Personal Books (at least those that I remembered to upload) into my library.
