Can the automatic "Search Window popup" be turned OFF when highlighting
When using my Android tablet, I do a lot of text highlighting and very little word lookup/searching.
If my tablet is not connected to the internet, I can select a word(s) for highlighting without having the "Search Window" pop up on my screen. But... if connected to the internet, the "Search Window" pops up every time I select a word(s) for highlighting. It's a distraction, a nuisance, it covers up a large portion of the screen (and sometimes part of what I want to highlight), and it wastes battery life.
Is there a way to turn it off? I checked "Settings" but didn't see an option.

I wrote up a case about this problem when it was first implemented internally but it was ignored. Quite unfortunate.
Just guessing, they're struggling between 3 groups ... one-clik hebrew/greek ... kindlers (multii-solution) ... and highlighters. I don't see an easy solution beyond an option.
On my ios, I often forget, highlight a single word, and then wait, wait, wait for it to search my downloaded library. Hard to use as a reader.

Thanks for the feedback on this. We're working on adding a setting, so that users can choose if they want this behavior.

I’m also now struggling to use the Logos mobile app (8.12.0) to read and highlight books on my iPhone (iOS 13.3.1). In fact, this is my primary use for Logos, and in the last ten years I have invested in hundreds of books at considerable expense. However, every time I select a word, to highlight it, the Search Window popup opens and pauses to search my dictionary, which I don’t want it to do. This interruption makes it almost impossible to read and highlight easily and speedily, as one can do quite naturally when reading on the Kindle, in iBooks or in the most basic pdf reader. Is it not possible to turn off this behaviour - it has become very irritating and, at least for me, is a serious drawback to using your mobile app? Thanks.

No problem
If it was announced, I must have missed it
It was included in the latest release - https://community.logos.com/forums/t/189852.aspx:
New
- Added a display setting to enable/disable automatic word lookup.

My beady little eyes spotted it, but Apple? was a little slow to show the update. Works. I think if I ever bought the company (I know, heaven forbid literally), my first change would be communications. There is SO much impressive work hidden in what FL does. First, the folks don't get credit, but more importantly the larger mission is stymied (salvation ... it IS a communication thing).

Thank you - this has been bugging me for quite a while on my iPad.
