Lepers in the Bible - Just Men or Also Women, too?
Is there any information as to the lepers in the Bible - concerning were the lepers just men or were women also victims of this disease?
Thanks,
Susan Murphy

Miriam
But probably not your intent.

Go to Factbook and enter your topic e.g. leper, leprosy. You will find articles in different bible dictionaries which may indicate gender of sufferers. But Miriam is the only female (it's odd that leprosy is a feminine word whilst leper is a masculine word, both in NT and OT)

Dave,
I will try the Factbook procedure. And it's amazing that leper is a feminine word.
Thanks,

It's important to note that the gender of a noun, in most cases, has no bearing on the meaning or mental association.
