How to have Passage Guide include Lexicons & Dictionaries
Hi and thank you for your time & help.
I'm working on Prioritising my Library.
Order: Bibles, Dictionaries, Lexicons, Commentaries
But, When I do a Passage Guide on ... Luke 15:11-32 no Dictionaries or Lexicons show on the list on the left or in same pane as commentaries bottom right? I also want all "Headings" on the left to be Collapsed.
Am I asking from Logos it doesn't do by default and need to create my own layout or am I doing it wrong.
Thank you so long.

Hi Deon,
Do you want to find everyplace the pericope you are working on is listed in a Dictionary or Lexicon OR do you want to have a set up where you click on a specific word and the Headwords are looked up. The Passage Guide is verse based, so you could create a collection of your dictionaries and lexicons and find everyplace that verse is mentioned in the resources in your collection.
If you want to look up a word the best place is to use the Bible Word Study Guide and link it to your Bible. Click on a word and it will populate with lexicons and much more. If you want to look up a topic, then the Topic Guide is best.
Regarding collapsing heading, just right click on one of the triangles and select collapse all. Now the next time you open the guide they will all be collapsed.
Please post back if you need more assistance with the suggestions above.

Hi John. Thanks for the reply. I'm with you. I wanted a Lexicon or Dictionary to provide some search results based on a passage ... which is not possible. Only from the passage, after clicking on a word, the Dictionaries and Lexicons come into play.
Thanks for pointing this out to me.
I managed to solve the "collapse" of headers on the left of the Passage guide.
Thank you for your time.

Deon,
It is possible. Create a collection going to tools and selecting collections. Type in the box without quotes: "type:encyclopedia" and the collection will populate with all your dictionaries.
Now open your Passage Guide and select the add button on the top right and select collection. When that opens up hover and you will get a settings button. Select the collection you just created.
