Passage Guide did not find a resource in the Library
I'm studying the Temple Cleansing in John 2:13-25. I opened the Passage Guide and was hoping to find a journal article. Under the category of Journals, "no results" was displayed. Letter & Spirit journals are in my Library.
One volume in particular is "Letter & Spirit: A Journal of Catholic Biblical Theology, Volume 4 • 2008". Letter & Spirit: Temple and Contemplation: God’s Presence in the Cosmos, Church, and Human Heart,
There's an article in there that specifically discusses the Temple and John 2:13-25. I tried narrowing and broadening the selection in John to see if that changes the search results, and it didn't. Does anyone know why this journal article does not come up in the Passage Guide search?

I thought I wrote a response to this yesterday; must have failed to hit "post". Use the information tool (or context menu) to look at the label attributes for the article -- if there isn't a match, it will not be selected for the journal section.
If you want it to appear simply because of a reference to the passage, use the Collection section pointing it to the journals.Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

MJ, you did post it. But I didn't want to continue asking follow up questions in that thread and that's why I started this thread.
I did not understand your instructions well and was hoping to continue the exchange here....
By going to Collections, I found the specific journal article but only after clicking on "More" several times, because virtually every resource had a reference to that passage. Under Settings for Collections, it did not offer "Journals" as an option. The options for narrowing the resources were "Church Docs," "Catechism," "Church Fathers" and then "Series", under which were all other resources -- including the Letter & Spirit Journal.
But I would not have known that this particular journal had the pertinent article, and therefore, would not have selected it. Does that make sense?

Yes, that is exactly how the Collections section works - it provides all references to the passage.
But the Journal section works solely off the labeling provided by FL - which may or may not be how we would have done it. In some cases, a user maintained file for a personal book ndex of Bible Studies will fill in part of the gap between the two.
Otherwise, it is a matter of spending time with Logos. In this case, play with the Topic Guide to see what it can provide you that is missed by the Passage Guide.
Each of us develops our own patterns. Others will probably jump in with different approaches.Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I just went to the Topic Guide and, although I couldn't narrow the topic any narrower than the entire Gospel of John, the article was there under Journals. So, like you're saying, there's multiple search approaches that we should exhaust. Thanks again.
