multiview resources

I've been watching a lot of tutorial videos.
I'm following along with this video, but the Greek text doesn't open up as it did for him.
I don't know why. I tried it over and over. Nothing.
What am I doing wrong?

Can you show a screen shot or a clip of the video that you are referring to?

I don't know how to do screen shots. It's a very short video. go to logos.com/pro logos 8 training videos. down a ways. under Bible study tools 3rd row down

Is this what you are seeking to achieve?
If so the Multiview Resources Training video is straight forward. Select the solid parallel bars icon, then select the drop down icon immediately adjacent. Type in your Greek Bible choice and select it from the list displayed, you should see a check mark by your selection. Now reselect the double solid parallel bar icon and you should see what I have shown you in my screenshot except I added my favorite commentary the BKC. I do hope I have helped you. If I have fallen short please clarify your issue in a repost.

I'm baffled then Larry. If no one more savvy then I pitches in, I suggest you call Customer Service tomorrow and see if they can ferret out your problem. It should work as described. I have no more to offer.Larry Craig said:I do all that, and nothing happens.

thank you very much for taking the time to try to help me
I really appreciate it.

Well, Larry, probably not your issue, but more than I'd like to admit, my leader (multiview) is parked in the OT, and the greek NT (multiview) disappears. Duh (for me).
But for many years (thru L7), a right-click 'search this resource' of hebrew would fail with the software supplied NT range. So, I don't feel so bad.

Thanks, Denise
I don't really need this. My normal layout has the LXX, Hebrew, and Greek NT open all the time with the English. Any words I want more information on, I click and get BDAG, BDB, and Lust. I then make a note on that word with all the lexical information so I don't have to look them up again.
I've been working my way through the videos to see what I've been missing.
I'll call customer service when I get a chance
Thanks again.

Once you get to the bottom of this, would you post the fix as this may benefit other users.Larry Craig said:I'll call customer service when I get a chance

Sure, but I'm guessing they will just take over my computer and do things that I don't understand or just download the program over it.

Just a thought, but have you tried the general fixes like closing Logos and powering off your computer and restart? And if that doesn't work trying typing Rebuild Index in the Go Box and hitting enter. It's worth a try.Larry Craig said:Sure, but I'm guessing they will just take over my computer and do things that I don't understand or just download the program over it.

I have to leave in a minute. Gone for the day. I'll try it when I can.
Thanks again.

Do you own this?

If not, then that might be the answer.

Well isn't that the point? You need help doing something that you don't understand. When they take control of your computer, they will show you how to do it! If you still don't understand, ask for them to show and explain it again!

wow, could be. I just saw this training video for Logos 8.. Didn't say it was part of a package I had to pay for.
Anyway, my regular layout has the lxx, Hebrew, English, Vulgate, German, French Bibles all there. I don't really need this thing. I'm just working my way through the training videos to see what I have been missing.
But thank you.
I plan on calling customer service about it.

Just a question bc I'm ignorant. But, will the icon still appear if you don't own it?

No idea. Ideally? No. However, having a menu item for something you don’t own could be advertising as well.

It's working now. I don't think I'm doing anything differently
But
you choose the version you want to add, click save, and then press the icon in the original tool bar.
Thanks for staying involved and trying to help me. I really appreciate it.

It's working now. Yes, it is a part of Logos 8. I'm not sure what I'm doing differently.
Thanks for getting involved and trying to help. I really appreciate it.
