Buy Denominational Starter Base Packages!
While the 30% off sale is going on, you can get some incredible deals on the various denominational starter base packages! It's a really cheap way to broaden your library theologically.
However, since some of the starter base packages have a few resources in common, you'll get the biggest savings if you buy them one at a time. After you buy the first one, then reload another one to see if the price dropped. For me, several ended up cheaper this way.

Moved from Bronze to Silver for $40 / 59 resources [Note that I already have a large library - your experience may differ]

How long is this sale going on?

Just updated 3 base packages with 125 resources for less than $1 per title! Remember that dynamic pricing works so that you may save by stair-stepping (I purchased Baptist Bronze, then Baptist Silver and it was cheaper than just buying Baptist Silver first.)

I made sure to do this during the sale. I had Bronze for all denominational packages but thanks to the sale I updated to Silver for all denominational packages in Logos as well as the different Silver packages in Verbum. For me, most were between $20-25 for the upgrade between Bronze and Silver. I bought each separately so there wasn't an overlap in resources that I overpaid for.
I am going to make sure to upgrade from the Standard Diamond to Portfolio before the sale ends. But I'm eyeballing the Collector's Edition which is a steal at 30% off... just needing the funds to make it happen before the sale ends.
Just a reminder to not forget about Verbum's website and adding to your library (if you are interested) in their various packages. There is more than just Verbum (which can be bought on the Logos site). There is Standard Verbum (the version you can see on the Logos site), Verbum Academic, Verbum Ordinariate, Eastern Rite (a lot of overlap with the Orthodox packages, if memory serves me correctly), and a few other packages.

I went with getting Orthodox Platinum (for the Patristics). Otherwise I would have upgraded all my Starters to Bronze.

There's also Verbum Clergy Starter, too, which is great. Some might be interested in Biblicum Standard.

Nice. I never had deals like that. Now that I have Starter and up on everything, Bronze sets are in the $20-30 range.

Whooaaaa, Natasha, thank you! I have Verbum Gold and Verbum Academic Premium (soon professional, hopefully) but because I had not scoured the Verbum site, I had no idea about these others. I just assumed.... So, thanks!
Btw, name my daughter the same name. Not a lot of you around, but it's a beautiful name.

I noticed something peculiar: for me, it's the same as you: 21 cents vs. 22 cents, for the exact same book. I have not bought it yet, would get that one book I don't own.
NOW, for me, the next level up, Silver, is $1.55. Interestingly, it says I have TWO books new to me. NEITHER of them is the book that is available in Bronze. I thought later packages were built on each other. Either this is NOT, or something went wrong in setting up the page. But Gold, at $63 is looking interesting because it includes Sacra Pagina commentaries and some Ratzinger works.
EDIT: the Gold package I am referring to is actually the Ordinate Gold. Eastern Rite Gold jumps to $205.

that book is "The History of the Mass and Its Ceremonies in the Eastern and Western Church." It's listed in Starter, Bronze, Gold and Ultimate, but NOT in Silver. I just bought Silver and it does NOT appear...

And BTW, both starter and bronze have the same resource. You would think Bronze would have at least one more resource, but it didn’t.

Yes. but I figure, it *does*, I just have them all and the only one I don't is the one that overlaps with Starter. Btw, I can't figure out why THAT resource is NOT in Silver, but shows up in Gold again?

Oops! Thanks for pointing this out. I have now fixed the issue, no product stacking issues for the Eastern Rite packages now

This ended up not being the same issue, but instead was a display error. I have fixed this one now as well.

Daniel, should not Ultimate contain all the resources from all of the starter packages? Am I correct?

All English packages except for any new lines that were started after the launch of Logos 8 (Messianic Jewish, Eastern Rite, etc.). We have a call out about the Messianic Jewish packages on the Ultimate page but I've clarified that language now about the other Verbum lines released after launch.

Thanks. I think there's another one with "17th Century Works" 0 for Diamond/Portfolio. 1 for Platinum

I was able to buy 4 different Bronze packages for $102.72 and received 423 new resources. I added the Baptist, Catholic, Orthododox, & Messianic Jewish Bronze packages to my library yesterday. Interestingly enough, now the Messianic Jewish Silver dropped from $70.95 to $40.94, after I had spent $17.57 on the Bronze package.

Apologies if I have missed this , as a newbie my forum searching may not be much better than my Logos searching!
In the spirit of buying these packages, is there any way to buy Verbum base packages "library only"? I'm subscribed to FL Connect so am offered the choice with the Logos ones, but the Verbum ones are still combined.
I realise I could probably take a trial Verbum subscription, but don't want to pay for both going forward.
Many thanks - I must say I have found this forum hugely helpful so far in getting set up most effectively![:)]

Friedrich, thank you for your reply. My account has that option for all Logos packages, but for Verbum it just shows the one total price including the features (as if viewing the Logos site without being logged in).
I wonder if it’s because I don‘t own the feature set (apart from L8 Fundamentals). Maybe I should stop buying books until I’ve read the ones I’ve got so far!

Are you aware that the Verbum feature set is some what different from the Logos feature set?
Peter Ryan said:Maybe I should stop buying books until I’ve read the ones I’ve got so far!
That's one way to save money - don't buy any more til you have read the ones you have. But other resources are useful in searching - one of the powers of Logos / Verbum. All depends on what you plan to use them for.

Thanks David, I hadn’t realised the features differed. Think I’ll just pay up my sub and start reading!
