error 1721

Hi, i have installed an old version - 2.1 under windows7. Was the only version I had. Then I did the upgrade to 3.0g and cut and pasted the resources. The programme icon when clicked says

' there is a problem with this installer package. A programme required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor'

- - when you click cancel about 5 times the programme opens and now all the resources are available. any suggestions other than clicking cancel 5 times?

i did download the dllsetup and ran that aswell

I have deleted the shortcuts and opened from the start menu.

Also re ran the update through the damaged package but had no change.

Hi there,

Sorry no luck with this. I have uninstalled and still have some files somewhere. My computer will not run the windows installer says I do not have permission - I am the administrator. Tried to download a newer version was told this was not the correct version for my system. I cannot check for the list of files on the article because windows 7 does not seem to have the old explore facility just a rotten search that as soon as you touch one of the icons then the whole search disappears and then has to be rerun and takes ages.

I cannot run from my discs - tells me there is another version on the machine. Control panel cannot find the programme after I have deleted it in the beginning.

Cannot download either new version or install as the machine looks for an .msi file - tried to download from the website but can't remember the message but it did not work, cannot find the .msi on the installation disc either, tells me it is the wrong type... going to get a hammer!!!!

Have a bible school text book that needs to be printed on Thursday - trying to lookup 'intercession' probably serves me right!!!
