How do I sort Collections by the Short Name?
How do I sort Collections by the Short Name?
Have started a study of the Apocrypha and I need a list of all of the English language Bibles in my Logos library that contain the Apocrypha. When using the Text Comparison tool, I have noticed that if a Bible does not have a given reference the tool will just skip that resource in the list. To list the Bibles that I want in a study I use Collections to list the Bibles for use. Currently all Bibles with language English.
Problem: The Collection sorts in alphabetical order. If the first Bible found does not have the text wanted it stops and does not go to the rest of the list. Tried setting the Abbreviated name of a Bible with the Apocrypha to ‘AAApoc’ but that, by itself, did not put it first.
I could just back off and use the three that I know have the Apocrypha [NRSVCE, New Jerusalem, NABRE] But would like to let the program list the ones to use. [I like multi versions: slight differences in wording can make a big difference or help to better understand]

It works. Thanks and I have 24 English translations to compare.

I had to play with it by doing, but I finally figured it out. Thanks for this question and answer. It will help me to engage with these deuterocanonical books.John Fidel said:Meanwhile, Jesus kept on growing wiser and more mature, and in favor with God and his fellow man.

What I do is exclude the source Bible I want first from the collection. The in the text compare I would have as an example:
NRSV, English Compare
John, you don't have to exclude bibles. The base/first bible can be in the Collection.
