Mega-Marketing

I come here appealing to the Faithlife marketing department to please consider some hint of moderation in the email assault on my inbox. AFTER opting out of the vast majority of email options by Logos and Faithlife, I have received 77 emails just in the month of April alone. While I can appreciate the company's desire to assist my church in this time, this deluge is actually a huge disincentive. While I would like to know about promotions, 1-2 email a month is more than enough. 3-4 email a day is excessive by any reasonable standard. I really don't want to have to go back and unsubscribe from all communication. That would be a loss to me as well as the company.
Please, please try and find a way to reduce the inbox spam.

I'm one of those crazy people that reads advertisements. BSM's are quite good. But for FL, I have all emails turned off, and when that didn't work, they set their secret 'do not contact' flag 'on'. I still get transaction confirms (good).
Personally, if they had a weekly email for my interest check-offs, that'd be great. Else almost 10 years of wonderful silence. Laridian is inching up there. Accordance is pretty much in the sweet-spot ... I read theirs.

I completely agree with this. FL doesn't honor the email settings I've configured in my profile. Please correct that.

I know that that happens from time to time, but I have not known it to be an ongoing issue. What are your settings? Also, is it possible you have more than one account (and so more than one set of settings)?

You may wish to carefully opt out of a few more of them. Some of the opt-outs relate to emails that are sent out more frequently than others.

You pay for your birthday coupon through the means of advertising. [:P]

Yep! That's why I don't mind the mails so much. But the new "Top 3 Picks of the Day" mail, every day, is a bit tedious.

I definitely don't have more than one account - plus, all their emails come to that one email address. I just checked my settings b/c when this whole covid thing began I started getting a whole new class of emails - probably half a dozen a week.
