Is there an easy way to make the font sizes the same in all resources?

I was just wondering if there is a way to make the font size consistent across all resources. When switching through parallel resources for example, I'll have hit CMD + or CMD - depending on the resource. I'd much prefer for all resources to have exactly the same font size. Is this possible?

At the top of the (Home Page) program bar. Click tools, then under utilities look for program settings, then under text display, you can adjust the settings.

Under the menu you mentioned, I can only select the type/style of font. I don’t see any option to select the size of the font except note fonts; I’m wanting to change the size of resource fonts. For clarification, I’m running Logos 8 on Mac OS X Catalina.

    Sorry for the late response.

Try under Accessibility - Content Scaling and Program Scaling.

Click tools, then under utilities look for program settings, then under Accessibility , you can adjust the settings. For content only then choose content Scaling.

    Hope this helps.

No worries about the timing my friend! I've already messed with that setting. It does make some things the same size, but there is still a great variance of font sizes within individual resources. Is there no way to just make all resources have the exact same font size?

    Yes, under content scaling.

I can only think that you have manually adjusted some resource on the open or close this panel's menu on an open book. Have you?

I believe I have...probably many of them. That's why I'm wondering if there's a way to reset them all to the same size without having to go back and change each individual resource.

Sorry, unfortunately you will need to manually undo them.

I've also noticed that if I close a specific resource and then reopen it, it will be set at a different font size than what I closed it in. E.g., if set the font size slider to 3 close it, but then reopen the resource, it will be set to a different size.

Strange, i not able to replicate that problem on my system. I am using PC and not Mac, that said, that is still odd.

Hopefully someone with a Mac will see this thread and respond.

    Kind regards

The Content Scaling command allows the same percentage adjustment of all font sizes in resources (and other panels). If you make individual size adjustments via the slide control, I recommend you save the layout (as a named layout) and load that each time you start Logos e.g. At Startup Open to: Most recent layout - local (in Program Settings).
