At the absolute latest, this Accessibility-related improvement should be implemented in Logos/Verbum 9.

Curious which Accessibility improvement should be implemented ? (Accessibility sub-forum has 52 threads)

Apologies to those already familiar with but curioue as to what ‘Dark Mode’ would bring to the software?
Principally, an option that reduces eye strain, which is particularly valued by some people who have greater difficulties than others in using programs such as Logos and Verbum without it. Some of the posters in the Accessibility threads that Keep Smiling linked to were quite pleased to discover workarounds in the absence of Dark Mode (also called Night Mode); it would be better still if workarounds were not needed.

Thank you.

Logos 8 thread => Dark Mode includes a "Dreaming..." mock-up by Randy W. Sims
Personally like reading light colored text (e.g. white, blue, red, yellow, green) on dark background (so dreaming of dark background for resources too).
Logos 4 thread => How-to: "Night Mode" toggle button on Windows 7 PC includes "Night Mode" (using Windows 7 Magnifier)
Internet search site:community.logos.com negative screen finds a number of forum threads with "dark mode" examples.
Keep Smiling [:)]
Happy for this to be an option for those that it makes a difference but personally I find it a struggle to read the dark screen shot mock up. I have to strain to read them. Much easier for me to read dark text on light background.

My eyes prefer Dark mode in macOS and Windows 10. Mock up with mixture of light and dark background areas is challenging to read dark backgrounds (my preference is entire screen having dark background).
Apple has three mode choices in System Preferences => General: Light, Dark, Auto (in macOS 10.14 Mojave and macOS 10.15 Catalina)
Microsoft Windows 10 (version 1909) has three choices in Settings => Personalization => Colors: Light, Dark, Custom (can choose Light/Dark for Windows mode and default app mode). Windows 10.
Currently the Logos/Verbum setting for Resource Background os Windows Default is White (ignoring Dark Mode choice by user).
Dreaming of Dark Mode option for Faithlife web sites too.
Keep Smiling [:)]
Would be nice. I'm surprised how few color options there are. Basically, it's paper, grey, or white. I suppose you could have whatever color you want if you changed your system default colors.
On macOS 10.15 Catalina with System Preference set to Dark Mode, the "Windows Default" causes Resource Background to be White. Currently Search and Guides have white background (ignores user system default color).

How do we get this implemented?
Welcome [:D]
Currently can use other software to tweak colors => Night Mode plus express Dark Mode desire by voting. Every Logos & Verbum user has ten votes that can be placed to help Faithlife development choose what to prioritize.
Dark Mode # 1 voting continues to increase in the Top 3 Logos 8 UserVoice suggestions:
2,749 Votes (+46) => Night Mode for PC/Mac (+1,707 since 3 Dec 2019)
1,207 Votes (+3) => Import/Export notes to/from Evernote. (+51 since 3 Dec 2019)
1,054 Votes (+9) => Focus on tablet and touchscreen features (+191 since 3 Dec 2019)
Note: 2,749 votes represents a minimum of 917 users voting for Dark Mode (since every Logos & Verbum can freely place up to 3 of their 10 votes on one UserVoice suggestion). From watching incremental voting increases, humanly guessing over 1,007 users are voting for Dark Mode. Considering Logos & Verbum user community size, number of votes could be substantially increased.

We're still tracking both sites. You don't need to worry that we'll only look at https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-desktop-app/posts/4 and say "eh, it only has 33 votes, must not actually be important after all". [:)]
But do create new suggestions at the new feedback site (or recreate existing ones that you think need a bit more exposure).
Please vote for Dark Mode in the Logos Desktop App using the New Faithlife Feedback Boards:
33 Votes => Add dark/night mode to desktop (In progress)
9 Votes => Prioritize resources by type
9 Votes => Add multiple search scopes for Bible search (Needs your opinion)
8 Votes => Add faceted browsing sidebar to Search (Needs you opinion)
Thankful every user now has an unlimited number of votes (albeit limited to one vote per Feedback idea). Considering Logos & Verbum community size, number of votes could be substantially increased.

After Monday we may not need to vote on it. But in meantime vote away.
