Unusual behavior of text comparison tool

I usually run the text comparison tool having selected “top Bibles” or ”English Bibles” selected and the results I get are the Scripture verse in my top Bibles or the Scripture in all my English Bibles. Today I received the following results for top Bibles :

And the following for English Bibles:

I uninstalled the app and re-installed it to see if that would fix it. No. I have not changed any of my collections on my PC which I rarely use because the app is handier. And as I said, my usual results are the right Bibles, either top or all English Bibles and the above results are unexpected.

    Shalom Juanita!

Are you using an Android or an iOS device?

On my Android smartphone the results for "Top Bibles" are the same as always. However, when I choose one of the different collections I have made for English/Dutch/German/etc. Bibles I get the message "No Bibles in the collection". The strangest thing is that I have one collection with a combination of Bibles in different languages (Arabic, Hungarian, Italian, Russian, Czech) and this collection also returns the usual results without any error message.

I have also tried my iPad and there almost all collections function as usual with the curious exception of my "English Bibles" collection.

I use the app on my iPad, so ios. This is the first time I ever had wrong results so I am wondering what changed.

I did check out my collection of English Bibles on my PC to see if there may be some irregularity and there seems not to be. The text comparison tool works fine on my PC with English Bibles. I did not update my iPad ios so the only other variable is the Logos Bible app updates.

Meanwhile, is there another efficient way to view a Bible verse in all my English Bibles on the app?

    Hi HJ,

If its not too much trouble, could you please post a screen shot of this behavior?

    Hi Juanita,

I am sorry to hear that you have been having this difficulty.

    Please do the following:
    1. Open the app.
    2. Tap the Menu icon (has three horizontal lines).
    3. Tap Help.
    4. Press "Report a Problem"
    5. A pre-addressed email will open with a log file attached automatically. Press "Send" to send your report.

We can then look into this further.

    Shalom Juanita!

What rule have you used to create your "English Bibles" collection?

BTW If you add Bibles manually to a collection (i.e. without using a rule) text comparison will work on both Android and iOS.

    Edit:

    Hi HJ,

If its not too much trouble, could you please post a screen shot of this behavior?

On my iPad it looks just like the second screenshot Juanita posted.

On my Android phone I get the following message:

It has been years since I set up that collection, so, it most likely was one that a trainer used and told us to copy and paste. The key is still what changed to cause the wrong result.

Thanks, Joe, for your help. One report sent yesterday and two today.
