    Martin,

sorry to hear of your issues. But the information you gave is too scarce to do something about (like confirming that there's a bug the developers need to do something about, or detecting an issue with your installation, such as a corrupt resource, or with your way of going about it). Please provide more information: what book are you running/trying to run the syntax search against? Best to provide a screenshot.

What about logs? Logos/Verbum will provide information about crashes. The best way is to start Verbum with CTRL held down, as this will invoke detailed logging. Let the program start and conclude initial background steps such as "updating library".  Produce the crash. Then, before restarting the program, fetch the logs (details under http://wiki.logos.com/diagnostic_logging ) and post them, here, together with the info.

I hope somebody can help you once we have this information

    6712.VerbumError-2.zip

As soon as starting a new syntax search, verbum is crashing

Hm. Working fine on my machine, Logos installation but same Program version 8.13.0.0008. I switched to German UI just in case, but everything works fine (picked an old Syntax search I had used once in the past, since I'm not much into that tool.

The error message in your logs seems to indicate some internal misalignment.

    Error ID: 5361
Error detail: XamlParseException: Für den Typ "LDLS4.Panels.SyntaxSearchPanel.SyntaxCheckboxControl" wurde kein übereinstimmender Konstruktor gefunden. Der Typ kann mit der Arguments- oder der FactoryMethod-Direktive erstellt werden.

System.Windows.Markup.XamlParseException: Für den Typ "LDLS4.Panels.SyntaxSearchPanel.SyntaxCheckboxControl" wurde kein übereinstimmender Konstruktor gefunden. Der Typ kann mit der Arguments- oder der FactoryMethod-Direktive erstellt werden. ---> System.MissingMethodException: Der Konstruktor für den Typ "LDLS4.Panels.SyntaxSearchPanel.SyntaxCheckboxControl" wurde nicht gefunden.

Could you do a screenshot, save as a file and attach to a reply (using the paperclip icon ["Büroklammer"] of the forum editor), showing us what your syntax search looks like before the crash?

The problem is not with running saved syntax searches - it occures when i build a new syntax search (not with the templates). When i choose one of the components - "clause" or "clause components", the system goes down.

OK, I can confirm, selecting the Clause in a newly constructed syntax search crashes my Logos system, too.

EDIT: I reported the crash with screenshots and logs in the beta forum https://community.logos.com/forums/t/190511.aspx and linked to here.
