Installing from systray icon causes crash
Description
>> With beta 2 installed, my laptop spent hours downloading 1.1gb or data (!) then nothing. I right clicked the systray icon and selected "install update" and it crashed.
Steps to reproduce
- Install beta 2 on a cruddy laptop. :-)
- Then let it download updates.
- right click tray icon and select install updates
- let it crash
Actual Result
I expected the system to install the updates. but it crashed
System Specs
*Laptop | Pentium 4 @2.4 Ghz 384MB RAM | Windows XP Home SP3, all patches.

Can you repro this crash? From the logs I think we have a case on this, but it would be nice to see if this is happening still. If it is then I can give you the direct link to Beta 2 so you can stop being so frustrated.

George, after rebooting the laptop, and clicking on Logos, it went through the update and download process. Sorry I can no longer reproduce since it's up to beta 2 now.

It's okay, the log files helped us out and I believe this is a known issue (and was just fixed for Beta 3)
