iPhone App (v1.3.0) - Won't sync new reading plans
Just updated the iPhone app to 1.3.0 (36607) and now it won't sync any new plans (after making sure the plans were synced up to logos servers and also after logging out and back in to the iPhone app). In fact, after deleting some duplicates all I have is the default "Read the Bible in a Year" plan that I assume is auto generated. I'm probably missing something easy... any help would be appreciated.

You are correct and Logos is not responding to any emails about this. Also, the links are broken on the iphone to advance to the next section so I cannot complete reading plans on my iphone. very bad

I'm looking into a syncing issue that has been going on since Monday afternoon. It doesn't appear to be related to 1.3 but coincidentally started around the time 1.3 was released.

I have a feeling this is what is causing my crash on my Francis Schaeffer reading plan. I accidentally checked a box on my Mac version (which I never do since I only read on my iPod) and that is when the crashes on my iPod started. My other reading plan for the Bible is fine.

How do you delete old reading plans?

How do you delete old reading plans?
In the new iPhone app swipe along the reading plan you want to delete and the delete button will appear.

Thanks for working on it.

Well, this is how I fixed it.
1. delete the app from your iphone
2. delete all reading plans from your desktop
3. reinstall the iphone app
4. allow the app to download a bogus reading plan
5. Create a new plan on the desktop the way you want it and catch up to today
6. open the iphone app and you should now have two reading plans on the desktop and two reading plans on the iphone. Delete the plan you do not want on each and you are now synced.
Apparently something in the 4.0b and the iphone app 1.3 did not want to play together with old data so new plans had to be created.

Well, knowing THAT would have made things a lot easier for me. I had a time getting my reading plan synced. I wound up with 3 on the computer and 2 on the ipid touch. I finally got all the extras deleted on the computer then synced for about the 10th time through the process and FINALLY only one reading plan on both computer and Ipod. I could hardly believe it when I finished my reading plan today and the very first touch marked it read and when I synced, it did it!
I looked and looked for a way to delete reading plan but found no option. And all I had to do was swipe!!!! Guess I'll try that for EVERYTHING and see what happens.[:)]

Sorry I just found this. I just got off the phone with someone in Logos support who didn't know anything about reading plan snafu other than he agreed with me that it wouldn't sync. I did look in other parts of the forum, but stumbled upon this now.
Be good to share this with Logos support, but better yet, to work out the bug.
Logos marketing: The most important feature that I will use everyday on my iPhone, if it worked, would be to look at my custom reading plans.
Love logos4!! Thanks for listening.
