Office 365 Ms WORD help

I have just started embedding Hebrew words into the text of my sermons. This is new territory as I usually just use transliterated.
I am hoping someone can help correct my ignorance.
"The Hebrew root for renew is “Chadash” transliterated from חָדַשׁ "
I put the above in MS word and then it suddenly wants to type backwards thinking my entire document is Hebrew. How can I avoid this in the future.
I want to occasional use inline foreign words and not impact the overall doc.
I defer to you all
Dave

Welcome to the forums.
How are you entering the Hebrew word into the Word document?
I copied and pasted several Hebrew lemma's from Logos to Word and did. not have the problem you describe. I am using Word 365 for Mac

Dave, in order to copy and paste Hebrew text into an MS Word document, try typing open and closed parentheses, (), then pasting the Hebrew text between them. This approach will allow you to continue typing left-to-right.

Had not thought of that, but I make sure there is a space after the location where I want the Hebrew word to go. That way, I still have L-T-R at the end of the line.
