Hi,

I am looking to purchase a Google Pixel Slate. It is a touch screen chrome book (12.5 inch) with access to Android apps, including Logos and Verbum. Does anyone have any insights to the Android experience on a large Android tablet? Are there missing significant features or bad formatting (ie tiny font)? Grateful for any help.

Agreed that there is unlikely to be any problems on an iPad, but there is a significant price difference.

Kindest regards,

richard.

I ran the Logos Android app on an i7 16gb/512gb SSD Pixelbook, which has about the same screen size as the Slate. It ran very well. There was no bad formatting and performance was very good. I even like how fonts render on Android as opposed to an iPad. The Android and iOS apps are comparable features wise. I hope this helps.

What kind of iPad? What I see is cheaper than the Slate.

thank you JT. Poor eyesight. I am looking at the 12 inch iPad. I have used one and I am much more productive with the larger screen. But it is about $1000. The Slate or perhaps a smaller Chromebook, but one that is powerful enough with an HD screen, is $650 or less.
