Concerning "Rapture vs "Second Coming"
The Commentary does not commit to a "Rapture" doctrine. However:
- The parallel passages between Mark and Luke state "Second Coming" but Lk 17:34-36 states "rapture"
- The Exhortations from Paul (1 Thess 4:1-5:28) states "Second coming" but "Rapture" is used in Awaiting the Lord's Coming (2 Thess 1:1 - 3:18) and in the heading for 2 Thess 2:1-12.
