My yellow highlight has a black grainy look behind it. When I try to erase highlight it won't erase. Yellow is the only color that has this problem.
Sorry to hear this John
Can you post a screenshot showing this? (use the paperclip icon in the forum editor)

John - Here is a screenshot of your issue (I took a screenshot of your PDF and cropped it):
I <think> this is related to you having an ultra hi-def monitor, but I am not sure. What are your computer specs? Are you on Mac?
I don't know why it would be the monitor since the other colors don't do this, Even the boxed in yellow doesn't do this and I can remove every other highlight or marking. But the yellow alone, I cannot.
Do you have any open search windows? It is possible that the yellow highlight is due to that.
No. I have been dealing with this for over a year and have done everything I know to do. Shut down and restart, check for updates and so on. There are some instances where I am able to remove the highlight, but in many cases I cannot. I don't know if this has to do with older highlights verses newer ( I am able to remove new yellow highlights, but I still can't use the yellow because of the grainy look)
It's not really that big of a deal. I can use all the other highlight features. It just bugs me I can't remove the ones that are corrupt.
So I thought I would see if any body else has dealt with this issue..
It was like this with my previous computer as well.
If you right-click in the highlight and select "open notes and highlights" you should be able to open the Notes tool to that specific highlight
What happens if you try deleting that highlight from within the Notes tool?
For some reason mine screen doesn't come up the same as yours when I right click
That "some reason" is what you have selected on the left - Graham has selected "selection" at the top. You have Strong's selected.
I am just showing what comes up when I right click
I did the same On a highlight that doesn't have the grainy issue and the right screen came up. So it seems as if Logos isn't even seeing the corrupted highlight
This will probably have to be an issue for tech support. Thanks for the help though
What I am trying to say is that:
Unfortunately, the technical support of Logos is just that - technical support. They do not do training on Logos features. You may get a break and get someone to help but you are more apt to get sent back to the forums as it is a training issue.
Thanks Graham for your help. Apparently it is a Mac issue. They are working on a fix. Also, I was able to go into the notes and highlights and delete from there. Good suggestion!
That’s good news - pleased to hear
