Two 1.3.0 bugs: Orientation Lock and page-width issue when opened in landscape mode

Folk,

Bug#1)

I tend to use Logos on the iPhone to read at night. This generally means I'm laying on my back holding the iphone in one hand in landscape mode. The effect is that the lock orientation overlay appears, fades and almost instantly reappears constantly.

I haven't taken the time to look at the iPhone SDK to see what type of data one gets from the accelerometers (assuming that is what is being used) but I'm thinking that there is too much sensitivity in the initial design.

If I could make a recommendation as to an application that gets the overlayed-orientation-lock correct, it would be the Kindle app for iPhone... maybe a quick evaluation by the developers is in order? :-)'

Bug#2)

If the Logos app is started with the device already in landscape mode, the full screen width for text wrapping does not seem to be detected properly.

Reproduction Example:

1 - Place device in a horizontal orientation, edge down (e.g., not on flat on the desk).

2 - Start logos.app; The loading and welcome screen will render completely as if the device were in portrait mode and then will switch to landscape mode.

3- While still holding the device in landscape mode, hit the 'Read' icon, loading your current book (testing done with the NLT).

4- Flip the device to portrait mode and observe that a portion of the screen will black out as if it is being refreshed and a portion will stay the background color. Text will re-wrap in the blacked out portion only.

5- Flip the device back to landscape mode observing the same condition (partially black/white screen, black portion only updated).

Thanks,

-jbl
