How do I save a layout in the Web app?

The web app currently doesn't support layouts like the desktop, it is something we are interested in developing in the future.
For now, have you tried making a bookmark in your browser? I'd be interested to know how this does or does not meet your needs.

Once I setup the layout, I saved a book mark in my brower. I am using the latest version of Chrome. This worked.

This is how I do it as well.

I am truly disappointed because you released the application with this defect and only think that you will do it in the future.

I am very thankful for the web app and the amazing replication of desktop features. Being primarily a Chromebox user, I use the web app almost exclusively these days. No need for the expensive Windows OS updates and I have access to all my resources (nearly 1000). Keep in mind that replicating functionality of the desktop app in an HTML environment is not simple. Some features take more time. Others might not be possible. I disagree with your accusation. I'm glad Logos made it available while a work in progress rather than delay until perfected!

The bookmark is a workaround to accomplish what we would like to accomplish. I would like the ability though to save my latest layout or a way to save custom layouts as can be done in the desktop version. This would allow me to save layouts that I use while I use Logos online while at work.
Thanks for all you do! The online version is super helpful and I'm grateful for it.

The surprise is not that the singing pig hits a sour note once in a while. [:)]

Alan, thank you very much for what your team has done with the Logos Web app; truly impressive. I will add my appreciation to the chorus of professional software developers and engineers. The extended use case for saving a layout in the Web app would be a huge step 1. In the meantime, manually saving one as a browser bookmark sounds like it works, which is great. The real cross-platform power of Logos would shine through in this context when users could manually/automatically sync saved layouts already created in the Mac/PC version and use them in the Web app. In different scenarios, I use Logos on a 27" iMac 5K when I'm studying and then an 11" iPad Pro when away from my desk and need something more than the iOS/iPadOS app which currently supports a split screen, but not layouts. If the desktop layouts could be sync'd with the web app layouts... [:D]

It supports layouts ... button on lower left, when viewing open resource panels.

Unless I am mistaken, this is the 'split screen' formatting I referred to previously, which supports just two resources, in only two window formats: either 1) horizontally, side-by-side or 2) vertically, upper and lower stacked. While this is a welcomed improvement over just 1 full screen resource, I don't anticipate most Logos Desktop users would consider this as the same as a Layout, unless we're talking the most rudimentary form possible.

I just opened 4 different resources in two vertical windows and one top and bottom window on the right in the web app on iOS on my 12.9 iPad Pro.

Hi Bill, I would love to know how you opened 4 different resources in a single layout. Is this documented anywhere? I can only get two resources, either side-by-side or stacked vertically.

Click the Layout icon [three squares] in the top right. You'll see 8 different possible arrangements.

Ohhh! I mistakenly thought you were referring to the Logos app for the iPad; I see it now very clearly in the web app on the iPad. Big improvement. Thanks.

Thanks for the book mark idea! Some what new to Logos, after a few purchases... Loving it )

bookmarking works, but only if you remain logged in. I would love to save layouts in quick actions though
