Can anyone help me configure a search using the graphical Syntax engine for noun-clauses containing imperfect verbs in the Hebrew?  I can not figure out how to use the graphical search tool.  Thank you?

This should give you a start

Unordered allows the 2x Clause IC to be in any order.

IC2 could also be a Object, depending what you intended by "noun-clauses".

    Thank you Dave,

I am at a loss on understanding the concepts of the Graphical engine.  I made it as far as Segment1  and I typed verb in the blank box under parts of speech and that is as far as I get.  I do not see verb family or get the part of speech to appear under the segment box.

What I am referring to as a Noun-clause is a new clause that begins with a noun instead of a verb.  As you are aware I am sure Hebrew is a verb-noun language, where English is noun-verb language.  So i am looking to do a search for the clauses that begin with a noun as opposed to a verb.

I apricate your help, tell me how does one get an understanding of the concepts of the graphical engine?  Are there instructional videos?  Where do I learn the terms?

What do I do to get your query beyond the creation of segment 1?

    Jesse

Personally start with a Morph Search to find example(s) that should be included in Syntax Search results: e.g.

    <LogosMorphHeb ~ N?????> BEFORE 3 WORDS <LogosMorphHeb ~ V?[IWw]??????>

Looking at three Visual representations of Genesis 1:3 found Verb-Noun clauses:

Modified (refined) Morph Search trying to find Noun-Verb clause example(s):

    <LogosMorphHeb ~ V????????> NOT BEFORE 3 WORDS <LogosMorphHeb ~ N?????> BEFORE 3 WORDS <LogosMorphHeb ~ V?[IWw]??????>

Genesis 2:16 has a clause with a Noun preceding the Verb, but the Noun is in a Prepositional Phrase.

Learned modifying Morph Search to: <LogosMorphHeb ~ V????????> NOT BEFORE 14 WORDS <LogosMorphHeb ~ N?????> BEFORE 3 WORDS <LogosMorphHeb ~ V?[IWw]??????> did not achieve my desired result of dropping Genesis 2:16 from search results (reminding me that NOT logic can be tricky). Hence changed Morph Search to:

    <LogosMorphHeb ~ CR> BEFORE 0-1 WORDS <LogosMorphHeb ~ N?????> BEFORE 2 WORDS <LogosMorphHeb ~ V?[IWw]??????>

Genesis 6:17 has a Noun-Verb clause with WIVU Constituency Trees showing the Clause as a Sentence:

Syntax Search of WIVU Sentence Analysis (with no skip levels) for Clause: Noun Verb has 84 results, including Genesis 6:17

Adding a term to WIVU Syntax Search has "Matching skip levels" checked (dotted line), which is useful if want to leave out Atom items (my initial WIVU Syntax Search). Revised WIVU Syntax Search by removing Atom items and checking "Matching skip levels" that found 893 results of Noun-Verb clauses, which included Genesis 1:20 and Genesis 1:22

    Are there instructional videos?
