Interesting. It would never fly in the UK. Different world view.Even someone trying to get elected as a local politician labeling themselves as a member of a Christian group is a guarantee of not getting elected. Even many Christians would deliberately not vote for them suspecting that they would not agree with their motives.
People in the UK have convinced themselves that, say, non-discrimination laws aren't an instance of legislation stemming from moral conviction? ... Okay.
