turn of searches in apocrypha
I'd like to turn off the searches for terms in the apocrypha. For example, if I want to say how many times someone is mentioned in the bible, Logos automatically includes the apocrypha. Can I turn that feature off so searches only include the OT + NT?

Well, from my perspective it is already working with only the OT and NT [:)] However, there is not "switch" for the Guide Factbook you pictured. Rather it depends upon the Bible you have set as your highest priority or if you are running Verbum or Logos. What is you highest priority Bible?

For that, generally for Bible searches you want to choose "Old & New Testament" not "Entire Bible" as your range.
Note, though, that the fuzzy Bible search as designed skips the defined range and will include references to the apocrypha.
I'm not sure exactly what kind of search you did in the picture you attached, but I hope this helps.

This is the information returned in the Referred to As section of the Facebook Tool (and potentially elsewhere) where the controls to restrict passage ranges are not present.

Hi MJ, thanks for your help. The search was for in the Factbook. But Factbook doesnt seem to allow me to choose which bible to use etc. How do I choose ESV as my highest priority bible??

Okay, I just tested it and it does not appear to depend on the highest priority Bible as some features do. I don't know any way to change the spark charts.

It won't make any difference as Factbook will locate your bible subject in any bible e.g. Bel (from Bel and the Dragon). It will also locate the few occurrences of Bel in the ESV canon, including the incorrect "burden" in Isaiah 46:2

Thanks Dave, so just confirming -there is no way to fix this?

A fix is not possible. Factbook will glean subject matter from any or all available resources and display them in Bookstore if you don't own them. It won't be restricted by your preferences.
