Mobile App: Filter by Collection?

Hi all,

I just noticed that on the mobile Logos app, in the Library view, one can filter by various facets as in the desktop app. But not by Collections. That facet is missing.

Is there a reason why? Will that ability be added to the mobile app soon?

Thanks,

Peter

“Collections” are not supported on mobile. No idea if they plan to extend the feature.

I've never understood the FL battle between collections and tags. I, myself, joined the tag team. I think I have one collection over 15 years, but I try to keep that quiet.

Some features seem (?) to demand collections. Others happily accept tags. Or maybe not.

I wish they had development policies. One FL platform says edited titles are great!! The next one, absolutely not! The next one, ok, maybe a few.

Thanks Denise. So now I know, I'll just tag those resources so that they can be filtered on mobile.

    Thanks,

Well, to be perfectly honest, I wasn't aware there were mobile library filters .... looked to be like an explanation mark to me. I foolishly assumed they'd implement similar to the desktop (what was I thinking!).

But with your comment solidly under advisement, I tried out user tags ... quickly discovering the displayed list is just as stupid, as on the desktop .... sorted by most-est (instead of those letters developed near the north mount of the gods millenia ago)

I'll return to hunt and peck.

Yeah, it beats not having the ability to filter by user tags... I agree the sort order of the tags is not the most useful. I'd rather they sort them by most-recently-used.
