Pop up window versus new window
When I click on a hyperlink in Logos it opens it as a popup if it is a footnote or abbreviation. With biblical references it opens a new window, although hovering over a verse reference produces a kind of hovering popup. Is there a way to decide how Logos treats hyperlinks. I don't generally like to open Scripture verses in new windows and would prefer that they open like the footnotes do, in a popup window.

If you hover over any hyperlink you will get a popup. So avoid clicking.

The OP does have a point, even if Logos is unlikely to do much. What, maybe 15 years* or so, now?
1. There's the whole chapter references, where the hover is that chapter heading and maybe a pericope line. Hugely useful.
2. Then, there's the references that exceed the popup size. For non-Bible, you get a scroll bar. For Bibles, you must do a click.
3. And doing a click either (a) screws up your layout with an insert, or (b) pops to an open Bible which, (c) alters where you were studying, and (d) conveniently also alters linked tools, but not (e) other linked resources, which (f) happily gets remembered for your next confused session.
A decent popup is really all that was needed, while reading.
Footnote:
*The 15 years goes back further. Libby has the same behavior. Logos4-8 did improve the hover popup, eliminating the complete bibliography of whichever Bible was referenced, often 4-5 lines, which every user needs to see on every popup.

4. There's single or multiple bible references in a footnote, which you must click in order to hover each reference.

Yes. That could be improved

Thank you for your responses. I am not crazy about the popup I get while hovering. First, the font size is smaller than the popup I get with a footnote. Second, it disappears if I move my mouse. I would personally prefer to click to see a popup and click to make it go away. That gives me more control over my workflow. Also, I do not always want to see a verse just because my mouse happens to hover over it.
