New resources not appearing in Library
I recently purchased the two resources below and for some reason, they do not show up in my library on my kindle fire or iPhone. What's interesting is that when I opened up the webpage on Logos' website and clicked on "Open in Logos" the resource would open up on both my kindle and iPhone. This is the only way I can get them to open up. They did appear on my desktop. How can I get them to appear in my library?

The only way I’ve managed to get new resources to show up in the library is to force-quit the app, then launch it (Solution 4)
If there’s an easier way on iOS/iPadOS, I’d love to know it (since I usually waste a few minutes first waiting to see if it will show up automatically).

You likely need to rebuild your library index using the rebuild index command.
Oh, is the command/behavior different on Mobile?
On desktop, rebuild index rebuilds the resource indexes, while rebuild library index only rebuilds the library index.

Thanks. I tried downloading the resources and then they show up in my library now. I will also try your suggestions. This makes me wonder what other resources are not appearing in my library.

The commands do completely different things. On desktop, the index referenced is for searches. On mobile, it is simply the list of books.
Thanks for that info.
It’s unfortunate that inconsistencies like this exist.

What inconsistencies? That they use the same command in both places for different things?
Yes
I'd rather have to type "rebuild index" on mobile than "rebuild library index," so I'll take the inconsistency in this case.
It would be better if we didn't have to do anything as a solution.
If the book metadata isn’t being downloaded after purchase, that seems to be a bug.
If the book metadata is being downloaded, but the book is not appearing in the library because the library index isn’t being rebuilt, that seems to be a bug.

Strictly observational in the old days (last year), if you interrupted the library update after selecting it, it never re-started, ergo missing new purchase. These days, it's email notifications that a volume has shipped, and it really hasn't for mobile. Typical Logos 80%.

Yes... or at least a corruption of data. I can't speak for which. The "best" fix for many problems with the mobile app is a delete and reinstall. In this case, using the command is a tad bit more complicated, but less painful than a full reinstall.

I assume you mean for a newly released resource, which you had on pre-pub. Is that what you mean? If so, that is unrelated (I think) to the issues above... but for clarification:
Newly released resources (rather than simply newly purchased ones which have been out for a bit) often need a SOFTWARE update before they are useable on mobile. I assumed that wasn't the issue here since the user was able to click on a link and open the resource up.

Smiling. It's why OT remains the better choice for friends at church. Logos customers are expected to read the forum daily.

I thought this might illustrate the problem (as you noted, a newly shipped volume). Without explanation, I'll present screen copies:
1. Noet (the resource shows in older apps)
2. The resource show in Biblia (spanish):
3. But not in Logos (latest update as you recommend)
4. But shows in Logos without filter:
5. Logos customers must know all the flaws ... erh ... tricks, for successful use of expensive volumes! Smiling.

I don't know for sure, but what you show appears to me to be either a bug OR a corrupted index (so run the command). I don't think it is the same thing that I was describing where the newly shipped resource needs an update to appear. FWIW - I don't know for sure, but I <think> the reason some resources need an app update to appear is for copyright control reasons, required by the publisher. That is speculation on my part.

Ditto. I can find that resource if I filter on icc but not on exodus. Very strange!
If you have the time, would you mind posting a new Bug thread, linking to this post?
I'm curious to see if the developers can reproduce this issue, and identify what's happening here.
