I am interested in using the 'transnote' field (Translator’s Note) in a Personal Book Bible I am building, but haven't figured out how to incorporate it in the PB DOCX text.
According to the Search Fields List:
- transnote: The text of the pop-up indicator for a translator’s note, and the text of the note itself.
This seems to indicate there are two arguments (indicator and text), but I can't find the specific syntax to use it anywhere in the wiki. (The term 'transnote' is only found on the Search Fields List page of the wiki.)
These tests didn't work:
- {{field-on:transnote}} Testing Translation Note Field {{field-off:transnote}}
- {{field-on:transnote}} a, Testing Translation Note Field {{field-off:transnote}}
- {{field-off:Bible}}{{field-on:transnote}}Testing Translation Note Field {{field-off:transnote}}{{field-on:Bible}}
These tests show the text of the transnote field in the surface text of the compiled PB (but not the transnote tags).
Translator’s Note was not listed under "Search Fields" in the Information page of the PB resource in Logos.
No errors or warnings were reported when building the PB.
What is the proper syntax for using the 'transnote' field in a Personal Book Bible (or is this field not supported in a PB)?
