Quick update, the original image had an incorrect date. It has been updated for the correct information.
In addition to Zoom, I will offer an on-ground location for those in San Diego. I will post details once I have them finalized.
Probably no responses because both zoom and ground are $45. Maybe zoom should be cheaper by default plus the $10 off by linking to your site. Just a thought 👍😁👌

Hi,
Thanks for your input. Folks get the same training on-ground or on Zoom. Same opportunity to ask questions and learn to use my sermon prep. Workflow.
Not sure how offering a discount for folks who help market is a bad thing, but if it is not your cup of tea, that is fine.
Blessings,
Joe
BTW, anyone who wants to download the Workflow, it is freely available. https://www.morethancake.org/archives/35079
I think what he's getting at is there are many free webinars going on right now. They're not all specifically Logos, but the trend of free webinars is prominent in 2020. Additionally, $45 will get you 2 months of training from MPSeminars (not to mention the multiple free training videos available).
Maybe if you provided more details about the content of the webinar there might be more interest? 🤷♂️
Best of luck!
Thanks for the details. The input is appreciated.
The free video training I offer is in my signature for those who want other details. This seminar I am doing is a revamp of my sermon prep series from older versions of Logos. Everything is updated to integrate with the Workflow I developed. The workflow which is freely available) does integrate videos and links for those who don't want to spend the money on more personal instruction.
One thing that comes to mind is a different approach to the training itself. MP is a without a doubt a great source for learning to utilize specific features and tools.
In contrast, my videos over the last decade have focused more on using those tools for a practical goal (like preaching a message or creating a study or academic research) and then organizing the workshop content in a way that helps pastors connect the dots between different features in Logos to better do ministry.
I also come to the training with a different perspective than MP. My training is from the perspective of someone who has used Logos to do sermon prep for 23+ years and who has taught homiletics from the undergraduate through doctoral levels. My philosophy of training is a bit more focused on teaching "how do succeed in my ministry" rather than "how do I learn to operate this software."
This workshop, in particular, teaches about workflows, but with an emphasis on integrating a hermeneutical process for an engaging homiletical outcome. Thus the title, "5 Day Planner for Expository-Narrative Sermons."
Hopefully that is some help.
After the training can you make the videos available for sell?
Hi, Paragraph 1: Thanks for your input. Folks get the same training on-ground or on Zoom. Same opportunity to ask questions and learn to use my sermon prep. Workflow. Paragraph 2: Not sure how offering a discount for folks who help market is a bad thing, but if it is not your cup of tea, that is fine. Blessings, Joe

To paragraph 1: Same training yes, but same treatment perhaps not so much. Zoom questions and comments get easily ignored and it happens the majority of the time.
To paragraph 2: You misunderstood me. I meant zoom registration should be cheaper plus get the extra discount for linking to your site; which would make the zoom registration even cheaper.
Besides, the topic is not necessarily the most attention getter. It’d have to be something more innovative for people to actually sign up for it. I’ve seen the free videos and with all due respect, I would not pay $45 for a live session for the same training I can get for free and better elsewhere. Even MP seminars offers a sermon prep and an Inductive Bible Study course that could prove more beneficial and I can get those and more for only $20 which would allow me to review those two topics and more additional training in just one month.
But anyway, sorry if I didn’t explain myself a little better the first time. It was mostly a suggestion.
Thanks!
