Can't get two resources to display in one frame and sync

I'm trying to open both the ESV and the Faithlife Study Bible in one frame on my Logos iOS app on my iPhone 11 and have both resources sync. I had previously done this on my iPad with ease but can't seem to figure it out on my iPhone. Am I missing something? I have them both open in split-screen mode but can't get the study Bible to flip pages when I move forward in the ESV.
Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I've just checked on my iPhone and it worked exactly the same as on my iPad
Have you ensured the two panes are linked in the tab manager on your iPhone?

That's what it was. It wasn't properly linked after opening. Duh! Thanks for your help.
