I own Moises Silva’s NIDNTTE, but I also see Colin Brown gets quoted a lot. So here’s my question: Am I good just having Silva’s NIDNTTE or should I also own Colin Brown‘s NIDNTT? I see that it’s on sale now. Both have great reviews.

DAL, I'm in the same situation as you in my Logos library but I do have an older dead-tree version of Colin Brown's New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology. I've not yet decided whether to purchase the updated Logos version but I would think it would be helpful to refer to it at times.
Thanks, Bruce!
I’m thinking of getting it because $69 is the cheapest I’ve seen it. So even though I’ve read Silva’s edition is better, I think I might take advantage of the sale.
Thanks!
I wonder how different they are or if it is just a matter of tagging like BDAG and its older version

I bought Colin Brown with part of the gift money I received at my Ordination. I have since upgraded all of my Lexicons to Logos except this one. Sentimentality wants to hold on to it. Pragmatism says to buy Silva and give away Brown to a next-generation leader. The way my library is organized, NIDNTT is at eye-level in the center of my books. It is a encouragement to remember those who affirmed my calling and an accountability to remain faithful to those ordination vows. I guess aesthetics do matter.
I suspect the Logos version fixes the problem I had with the print version of Colin Brown - namely being indexed on English words instead of Greek - but unless someone does a big sales job to convince me, I doubt it would add that much more to me since I have the Silva as well as many other works.

Silva’s NIDNTTE‘s table of content is in Greek. Colin’s NIDNTT‘s table of content has headings in English but when you click to expand the drop down menu the rest of the entries are in Greek.
I went ahead and purchased it. It’s never been this low, so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to buy it.
I guess FL's been listening to this thread! An NIDNTT collection of Silva and Brown for just $99!
