Search in Clippings
I have a question regarding Clippings and the ability to search. This may be a question that someone from Logos would need to answer, I'm not sure. I prefer using Clippings over Notes when going through my Mobile Ed courses. However, the only downfall I've found is that the software does not allow you to search for specific things within a particular Clippings document.
I am wondering if there is a way, and if not if there ever will be a way, to search for specific phrases, words, etc in a clipping file.
If this is not or will not be a possibility in the software, does anyone have any tips or tricks to recommend?

If you do a My Documents search it should return results from documents including Clippings
It is one of the options in Basic Search

That will find the Clippings document, right? I am looking to do a search within the Clippings document itself.

1. Open the Clippings Document you want to search in.
2. Press Ctrl-F (or Cmd-F, I think, on Mac).
3. Start typing.

The search results will show where the word occurs in the Clipping Document. When you open the Clippping document from the search panel, you will be positioned to be top of the Clippings document, not the search term.
Sorry if you already knew that.

I tried this but it's not working. Cmd-F works but it just scrolls to the end of my clippings document instead of finding the word or phrase.

It doesn't look like the search is searching the notes though.
It does. But the results don't separate Notes text from the text of the clipping (or the result word in buried in the text of the Notes). Look carefully, as you have to locate the actual word from the context that is shown in the results.
