I noticed that the print version includes the full esv text at the start of each section. This is true for some of the electronic volumes but not all of them. Please can this be corrected? Dan-Mal and Eph-Philemon need correcting. Thanks
6 bump
I've had an email acknowledgement of this now but no promise of a timeline for a fix...
A month on these great commentaries need fixing!
Isn't easier/better using a split screen and having the ESV open alongside the commentary?
Not when I'm using read aloud. The ebook should be as the book. They have acknowledged this.
This still needs fixing.
18 months no fix [:'(]
I apologize for not seeing this earlier.
When converting titles to Logos Editions, if the Bible text is part of a continuous text flow (i.e. not on opposite pages), not merged with the commentary (i.e. it's in separate paragraphs), exactly matches, and it exactly matches a Bible in the Logos library we exclude the text.
Kyle, my issue with it is that it is not consistent among the different volumes and IMHO it is very nice to have it in the same resource when listening with accessibility features. Why not have it as an option? You can turn on and off page numbers for example...
and it exactly matches a Bible
Kyle, a few months back there were objections in the forum where the base text was a common translation but it was modified by the commentator and still not included in the Logos product. Perhaps, those reporting this should report it again?

Sure. If you could refresh my memory on it that would be great. It vaguely rings a bell and me may already have a case for it but may as well double check.
Kyle, surely these need to match the print versions. Your product description clearly states: "...the ESV Expository Commentary: New Testament features the full text of the ESV Bible passage by passage, with crisp and theologically rich exposition and application." Also the email to me dated 2nd Sept 2020: "We’ve passed this information along to our Content team who will be able to review the resource files on our end and make the change."
