I am working through an 1800's Bible Study resource and it recommended using the Authorized Version of the Bible, which I assume is KJV, and the Revised Version. That I can figure out. It also recommends the following, and I am asking what the equivalent to these would be today...
Helps to the Study of the Bible (Frowde, Clarendon Press) OR The Oxford Bible for Teachers
The Bible Handbook by Dr. Angus (Religious Tract Society)
The Student's Old Testament History and The Student's New Testament History (Murray)
If someone could point me to the equivalent resources for these three older resources, I would appreciate it. I was having difficulty finding them on the Internet even. The resource I am working through is in the public domain and is called "Clews to Holy Writ; Or, the Chronological Scripture Cycle; A Scheme for Studying the Whole Bible In It's Historical Order in Three Years. I am working on developing this into a personal book I can use in Logos to do the study and would like to link to Logos resources.
Thanks, Carla
