Problem automatically downloading books on traveling laptop...

I have all of my books downloaded onto my desktop and another laptop that is stationary and also a tablet, but a laptop I actually travel with will only download books manually and seeing that I have over 4k books in my library I am not prepared to download them manually.  I have checked the settings in Program Settings, Internet and they are set properly for automatic download yet the laptop never does.  I even uninstalled and reinstalled Logos 8 on the laptop to no avail.

Anyone with any ideas or solutions.

In His Love and Service,

Peace

I'm not quite sure of the scenario you are describing - please clarify.

    1. Do you currently have all your resources downloaded to the laptop in question?
    2. If not, which ones are not downloading and which ones aren't?
    3. Do you get prompted about updates or not?
    4. Have you set up this laptop to use cloud resources?

In the Library window, select all the books (use CMD-A or CTRL-A).

In the library information panel on the right (click the circle "i" in top right), there will be a blue download button. Click it. This will download all your books.

Then, in Program Settings, under Internet, make sure that "Download NEW resources" is checked. You should be good to go for future resources.

Thank you that did the trick.

Thanks. And for the opposite? If I don't want do download all.

In Program Settings, uncheck "Download New Resources."

Then select the books you want to remove from your computer in the Library. In the Library Information Panel there will be a button that says "Downloaded." Click it and a context menu will pop up that says "Remove From Device." Click it and the resources will be removed from your computer, but not hidden. They will still be available, but not downloaded.
