Is it possible to create a list of verses?
Hello! I'm new to the Logos 8 family, as I am coming over from WORDsearch. In preparing my sermons for the next couple of weeks I thought I'd start trying out the new program. I'm hoping someone can help me out. Is there a way to create a list of verses which I can then copy and paste to my word processing program? I've tried to find a way to do this, and the nearest I've come is the passage list. However, I can't seem to make it function like I'm desiring. Any assistance would be appreciated!
Thanks, and God bless!

Hi Chris - and welcome to Logos and these forums

That should do it - you can type in verses and they get added to the list
Was there something different you wanted it to do?

Adding to Graham, https://wiki.logos.com/Passage_List shows several more ways to add to, and use passage lists (if you didn't see it).

A Passage List document could work. But if your goal is to get the passages into a word processor document, then you might be better served by the Copy Bible Verses tool.
Do you already know the references for the verses you want to export to a word processor? If so, just type them into the box separated by semicolons (e.g., John 1:1; Mark 11:15; Eph 2:1–5; 1 Pet 2:10), and CBV will generate the list in the format of your choosing.

Thanks, Graham!
I appreciate your help! I wasn't aware of how to add additional verses until I saw your screenshot. Each time I tried it was creating a new passage list. This will definitely help in my future sermon prep.
Thanks again!

Thanks, Denise! I hadn't seen that page, but it's bookmarked now!

Thanks, Phil! I didn't know that typing the references sequentially like that in the CBV tool would generate a full list. I typically have my references in my notes but not the full verses, so this will be incredibly handy!
I appreciate your time!
