How Long Will the "Limited Time" Sale Last?

This whole transition business is exciting and a little unnerving. Buy hey..., that can be a good thing. Thank you so much for trying so hard to make this easier for us.

It's going to take me a little while to figure out whether or not I want to upgrade to a higher feature level or even to do that as part of a pre-defined library upgrade.

I appreciate that the sale (incentive to upgrade) will only last for a limited time. But it would be helpful to know whether I have a few days, a few weeks, or a few months to complete my evaluation. I'd hate to decide too late that I want to upgrade and then have to pay substantially more because the sale has ended.

this is personal SPECULATION , but Logos 8 is nearing 2 years old and several users are expecting Logos9 before the holidays. New release traditionally has involved significant discounts on package upgrades.

The only catch (as you know) is that the package contents are redone every major release, and a resource which was included in L8 may no longer be included in the same package for L9.

I'd hate for a Wordsearch customer to miss out on a desired resource that gets removed from a package to accommodate new material.

The present discounts offered to Wordsearch users may also be better discounts than are available to them whenever 9 comes out.

I also had a paid version of WS and didn't get a discount code so am guessing Mattillo is correct about it only being for WS customers who didn't already have Logos. (Though I was only on WS11, so I don't know if that would be a factor.)

Curious. I'm a WS12 owner/user, and after just plowing through the plethora of emails - again - from both WS and Logos, I see nothing about a discount. Where am I missing that?

Hello Mattillo,

I received two emails early Friday evening announcing the acquisition of Wordsearch by Faithlife. One came from the CEO of LifeWay, and one came from the CEO of Faithlife. It is the latter email that I referenced in my response to Harold.

Perhaps these particular emails only went out to customers who owned the Wordsearch product, but who did not also own the Logos product.

Since I had different email addresses connected to each program, I did receive the acquisition emails in my email account connected to WS. If you had the same email for both accounts it may explain the messages you can't find. Perhaps message were marked as Junk/Spam/focused?

The books I've had in my WordSearch I'm happy with. But because of the price, I did get the fundamentals package for $29.99. At that price, even though I didn't need it I couldn't pass it up. Over all, once all of my books come in I will be happy with what I have. If I add anything it is a few things here and there.

After reviewing the features I've decided to go all in. The more you spend, the more you save. Well..., that might not be true in general, but I think it applies here. I purchased the Logos 8 Reformed Gold. This adds lots of new new books and brings the program up to the full feature set. And even though it completely empties the "New Software" line in my budget (and then some), I am very happy with the purchase so far.

They have payment plans.

Call and talk with Sales to see what they can do for you as far as a minimum down and how many payments they can stretch it out to.

They will tell you this but please note, regardless of how many months worth of payments you set up, they do charge a $5.00 per month handling fee. (It is not an interest charge, it's a flat fee per month (and if I am wrong about the fee amount sales or someone "maybe someone official" can correct me.
