It would be very helpful if you could share your tagging.
I use a lot of tags, but the main ones are for commentaries. CommentaryLanguage CommentaryExegetical CommentaryApplication CommentaryBackground CommentaryOnevolume. I also tag bibles as bible and myfavoritebible. Denomination tags and theological traditions are also helpful. Calvinism Arminean Baptist Methodist Lutheran Catholic Orthodox. I tag books if they are systematic or doctoral works. Theology, eschatology prayer Christology. ChristianLiving are books focused on how one should live. Apologetic works and Greek or Hebrew works. I tag quote books, illustration book, etc. As illustrations.
Hope that helps.
I've shared this quite a few times before but perhaps someone has not seen this since I last updated it. 0160.My Tagging System for Logos.docx
I am working through Camp Logos 2 and was very interested in the tagging episode Morris shared. I did download his document scheme and can view that, but I am unclear on how to get that into my Logos. He seemed to indicate that there was some "automatic" process whereby my resources could be tagged with his scheme. What am I missing?
This is helpful, Thanks!
There is no automatic process ... his tags / tag system are simply sample suggestions of tags to use when going through your library and tagging resources with a specific tag, so as to later be able to use your tags for more effective searches, making collections, etc. in order to make better use of your library. You get the tags into your Logos by adding the tags to the resources in your library (e.g. via adding them using the "Information" panel in the Library. A sort of "semi-automatic" and more speedy process for tagging could be grouping resources in your library by using the filters in the sidebar and then selecting/marking the group and adding the same tag of your tag system to the selected group of resources in one step.
