They'll never get everything right at any releases. Plus this year is even gonna be worse...they never released the "new features" to the Logos Connect members where users can help them to squish out the bugs. And I don't think a few of "Star MVP Members" like Mark Barnes who participates in closed beta able to find everything.

Any interactions with CS have been so delayed since the Wordsearch acquisition that I would be really surprised if they have the bandwidth to release L9 right now. November would be my guess.

Two things to assume about the release of L9:
- The release is more likely after a weekend to set things up than a weekday - but Faithlife has surprised me with weekday releases
- The release is usually first thing in the morning Bellingham time not flip the switch midday. Yes, they do seem to mess with employees' schedules so "first thing" is a bit unpredictable but ...

It's definitely gonna be released this month.
If they don't...
1. November is the release of new XBOX & PS5
2. People getting ready for Black Friday & Christmas sales. Family first.
3. November is election.. Bad economic times. (God help us)
So if they wait until November... They'll miss big money as people will ignore the sale. I'm sure they're ready to release it, I think Phil & Bob are just looking at the momentum & the traditional release cycle to follow the tradition.
Plus, everyone who were on payment plans from L8 have already paid off their debt. So Logos need to analyze their financial quickly. This is Finance 101 in this era.. Predict how many will subscribe & attach themselves to the company for projection of money.
If L9 is released in November, I'm sure they lose big money. October is their target.
Tip: for new users, especially WS users.... DO NOT ..I repeat...DO NOT BUY ANYTHING this month, until L9 is released. You'll save tons of money.

Right now and for how ever many more days that they have, migrated W.S. users get a single 50% upgrade discount. If they find a base package that strikes their fancy I think they should go for it now. Let dynamic pricing do its thing for a Logos-9 upgrade if they so desire.
Just my 2-cents, or a plug-nickel if you prefer that [:)]

I have to agree with you, right now our discount is deep enough that dynamic pricing should more than compensate if we bought today and L9 dropped tomorrow. For example, Fundamentals is on sale for $50 and WS refugees can get it for $30. Yeah, I suspect 9 won't drop until after the WS sale ends. So you'd lose your 50%. BUT If I'm wrong, and they release the L9 packages before the end of the sale, and you like those better, you can always call and make a return within 30 days.The Flanary's said:

I think the highest discount that a major release has been was 34% off (and that was a combo discount, that also required a Logos Now subscription).
50% off on Logos 8 is an awesome deal, and should not be passed up!
