BUG: My Syntax Search Template is Broken

Syntax Search for all Hebrew lemmas pertaining to Subject are returning no results. English Subjects are inconsistent, some give results; like lion and David. Others do not; like Joshua and Elijah. This bug was discovered with respect to the Verbum Search through Tip of the Day #32. See that tip for discussion. https://community.logos.com/forums/p/194321/1121151.aspx#1121151

Andersen-Forbes are not consistent with their "English" names or glosses. I run a word or <Person...> Bible search in AFAT to discover the gloss and its Hebrew lemma i.e. open the bible from the Results and use the Context menu.   But the gloss won't necessarily give the same result as the Hebrew lemma.

For 'Abraham' use both Abram and Abraham.but Hebrew is just  אברהם

For 'Joshua' use Yehoshua and יהושׁוע

For 'Elijah' use Eliyahu and select the lemma from אליה

For 'donkey' use donkey, donkeys  and select the lemma from חמור  (asses!)

Two of the best minds on these forums have had their say on this matter; the issue is still unresolved. I beg the attention of the FL team to intervene with a solution. I called Customer Service and they referred me to the forums a service I am well aware of. Now I need the team of FL bug investigators to throw in their hats or hat. Please address my issue in season. I thank you in advance.

    Rebuild, took awhile, didn't help.

You haven't understood my post. This is an Andersen-forbes idiosyncracy - their data dictates what are acceptable "English" Subjects.  They are inconsistent, but it is more that they use an English transliteration.

So 'Elisha' is the word to use for the prophet. Then there is a different person 'Elishah'

And learn as suggested that 'Yehoshapat' is needed for 'Jehoshaphat' (king), 'Yoshapat' is needed for 'Jehoshaphat' (trumpet blower) & (warrior)!

EDIT: I might be presumptuous with the above, given that there is a problem with getting suggestions in the Syntax search for Subject.

Try deleting AndersenForbesHebrewOT.lbssyn at C:\Logos\Data\randomNumber\ResourceManager\Resources, then restart Logos.

Tech Support reports that this is a bug with MacOs and they have reported it to the development team.
