No Tools - Interactive Media?

Hey folks! Just reading Morris' post here about finding negative and positive commands.
I have Logos 8 with All Logos Features, but nowhere in my Tools do I find
Tools --> Interactive Media --> Commandments of the Law, because nowhere can I find "Interactive Media"
I have a "Media" button in my tools, but that doesn't seem to be it, and under my Guides, some have "Interactives" written, but those don't seem to be it either.
Anyone? What am I missing, as it were? Thanks! OR... is this something coming in Logos 9 as it were, released early by mistake, which happened with something else a few weeks ago?

Hi Carmen,
If you click on tools and then in the search box type command you should get a link to the tool. Let me know if this does not work.

In fairness. please note that this is Logos on my new Surface Pro 7. That having been said, I installed everything except my books, which I'm downloading as needed to avoid overloading my SSD.
Could that be part of the problem?

No, it probably is the problem in full, not in part. "Commandments of the law" is a library resource by author Rick Brannan, which will obviously only work if you download it to the respective machine.

All of the interactives will show up in your library. You can use the library sidebar to filter by type "interactive". Then you can select and download the ones you are interested in.
After this, they will show up in the Tools menu.

Hi Andrew .... I have the same problem. I do have the Interactive media in my library but it is not in my Tools menu. It is not giving me the option to download... perhaps it is already downloaded. However it is not in my Tools menu. How can I get this and other interactivesto show up in the Tools menu?

If it is downloaded, it should say so:

Not all interactives show up in the tools menu. Only those that operate more like tools are displayed there.

Thanks Andrew for the reply, I'm still learning Logos but I must say to learn all there is in Logos is a steep learning curve. I been using Bible apps all my life ... I must say this app is the most complex and difficult to fully utilize.

I suspect no single user has use for all it offers. Concentrate on learning how to do what you know you need and slowly explore the remainder. Otherwise you'll get frustrated with the hills left to climb and miss the beauty of the plateau you are on.

And ask all the questions you need or want to ask in these forums, because you'll get answers. Usually very helpful and friendly ones, too! [:D]

This must be the quote of the day. Going to use it as my WhatsApp status MJ.
