I used to have logos 5; very easy to navigate. This logos 8 is killing me. I cannot find commentaries on subjects I am interested in. I used to have like 30 or so commentaries to choose from, now I have like 2, and even that is hard to bring up

If you recently installed Logos 8 on a new machine, you may have selected the "Minimal" installation option, which only downloads a few resources to your hard drive. If you have enough available hard drive space, downloading all resources will provide the same experience as Logos 5.

I've had the same problem. But following the instructions does not change anything. They all show up as downloaded in the library, but do not show up in a passage search.
It would depend upon the commentary, but a number of the Wordsearch commentaries were initially imported as monographs. I understand that the plan is to convert them into the commentary format in Logos as soon as possible, but in the meanwhile they won't show up in a search for commentaries.
