BUG: Impossible to Select Periods On the Far Right

When I select sentences to highlight, I usually want to include the punctuation. However, in the last few days, it has become impossible to select trailing periods on the far right side of the screen. See image below:

I can't replicate this - I can include full stops in selections for highlighting.
I am checking this on Mac, which platform are you running on?

It is not possible to select a word with punctuation on the very end of the line. But I can select it and the following word(s) as expected.
This calls for a manual workaround, unfortunately.

I am using Windows with Selection Mode set to "Word". (I know that Character selection mode is a workaround, however, Word selection usually allows you to decide to select or not select punctuation).
Also, I just realized that I am only having the issue with personal books. It works as expected with Logos resources. That's why I only recently noticed the problem, because I only recently was reading a personal book. So the problem seems to be restricted to personal books, which is strange since I can't imagine what would be coded differently between them.

This is an old thread, but today I had the issue again with a Logos resource.

In Windows 11, v23.0 Beta I had no problem selecting text with or without punctuation and with a Setting of "Word" for Text Selection. I could do it in a PB or a Logos resource, selecting from L to R and R to L.
