Tapping the search bar on mobile opens a full-width search bar.
I usually shop/search via the desktop, but this improvement really shines on the iPad!

I guess. I can't imagine what I could type that long, even on the mini. Especially when the search engine finds everything except.
Instead, I'm having to constantly click on the search icon .. down (auto-up) .... down .... (auto-up).
Amazon really has a much better feel for fast (convenient) shopping ... cutsy isn't their goal.

Petah ... I've been excessively ascerbic in the last couple months regarding Logos.com searches. I think you have your anti-ascerbic filter left in the 'on' position (smiling).
Regarding length, see Verbum ... they could easily have just 'lengthened' it (made it longer). Versus hide it, like a popup-doll. Up ... down ... up ... down.
