Red letters not showing
My program settings are set to "Show Red Letter in Bibles," but they don't appear. Are there any other settings required to make the red letters appear automatically? FYI, not sure if it should matter, but I do use link sets.

Which bible are you using, and which passage?
From having a quick look through mine, not all of them do have red letters.

Two of the bibles I use are the NLT and NIV.

Both those are showing red letter for me for Matthew 5.
There is a setting in the Visual Filter 3dot triangle menu, under 'Bible Text Only', the option that toggles the red letter, as well as a few other things such as small caps for Lord, is 'Bible Text Formatting'.
See Reuben's post https://community.logos.com/forums/t/165366.aspx noting that he was explaining how to turn it off, hopefully this is your issue.
You will need the 'Bible Text Only' option to be selected also.
