Spacing in certain Greek fonts

I have noticed that when certain capital letters occur at the beginning of a word they are squashed up against the following letter. You can see it in the screenshot below. I took the shot at highest scale it is clearly visible, but it is exactly the same at every zoom setting. The font being used is a font Logos has used for years, Gentium, though Gentium Alt displays the same squashing. Other fonts seem to display normally, viz. Arial Unicode MS, KadmosU, Palatino Linotype, SBL Greek.
Is this a known issue with Gentium?
If so, are there any plans to resolve the Gentium font display? (I hope so because it's a bonnie font!)

Thanks for the answer, but shouldn't you be sleeping just now?
Every blessing

I could detect some slight spacing error with Gentium on my system, but no squash—not even okra [8-|]. I thought we only squashed things is the SE US.
I have heard of the city that never sleeps, but apparently Rosie is the lady that never sleeps.

I do sleep, it's just at weird hours (looks like today it's going to be 5AM to 1PM, but it varies...).
G'night all...

The display problems seem to be confined to Logos 4 Mac only. As the two screenshots below show:
The first was taken showing a selected close for copying:
The second the results of the pasting into Word before any reformatting:
Fonts in both Logos and Word were Gentium.

I am using the SBLGreek font, and the narrowing does not occur.

Alan,
This may not be it at all, but I am just curious. Is your program scaling set to 100% or is it possibly higher or lower?
I was having some issues with the way things were showing up on my screen, and as soon as I followed Tom Philpot's advice to type a command in the terminal to set the scaling back to default, everything looked normal again.
Just a shot in the dark, but thought I'd mention it as a possibility.
