Free Greek Texts on iPod - can we have them on desktop?!
Just got my ipod touch so naturally installed Logos 4 and had a play - I noticed a number of Greek texts on it that I don't have on Logos 4 desktop (e.g. Scriveners etc.) I have Bible Study edition.
As they are free on the iPod, can e have them on the desktop for free also?

This isn't really an appropriate response. Did my question show any ingratitude or unreasonableness?

I'm sure Dave wasn't suggesting that. It was a humorous tongue-in-cheek response, to my mind. I'm sure Dave didn't want you to read the verses before the ones he quoted and assume he was applying the context to you. The simple point was that if Logos have chosen to be generous to iPhone users we can't really complain if they're not generous to desktop users because desktop users have, after all, got everything we paid for.

Mark - I understand that and I agree with you! But you just put it a lot better than Dave did! I was just asking after all ...

That's the problem with internet forums: humour often gets lots in translation! [:)]

Very true - which is why quoting certain bits of the Bible with no qualification could be a bit unwise!

I did not even read the text. I went to the more button and found that there are several Greek Texts available that you can view from your desktop. So they are available from this site.

Sorry, I didn't mean to offend. As Mark correctly interpreted, I was trying to be humorous. I thought it was better than a simple "no."

Thanks for that Dave. Maybe a tongue-in-cheek smiley would have prevented any misunderstanding! To be honest it's great we have these texts online and on the iPod ...
