Status of your Wordsearch Library
We've created a page that shows the progress of your personal Wordsearch library being migrated to Logos: https://www.logos.com/wordsearch/library-migration
- Available means that the resource has been unlocked to your account and should download to Logos 8. It does not mean that a product page exists on logos.com for Logos users to buy this book yet. It does not mean that this is the final version of the resource; we're upgrading the edition of many of these resources from Ebook to Logos Reader or Logos Research: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/193938.aspx
- In Progress means that a Logos Resource ID has been identified or created and aligned with the Wordsearch title, but no file is available yet. It may still be on Community Pricing or Pre-Pub (but you will get it for free when it's available).
- Not Started means that that alignment hasn't happened yet, but we have a record of your ownership.
As of Sep 21, not all licenses have been loaded into our system yet, so some of your Wordsearch titles may be missing from the list. For now, please be patient, wait a day or two, and check back. We'll update this post when we believe that everyone's licenses are loaded into our system.
Some Book IDs may show up as "Unknown" in the list. This means that we're still updating our resource system with information from Wordsearch's system; those should be replaced by real titles in the near future.
Finally, we also have a list of all known Wordsearch titles (not filtered by your ownership) if you would like to see the status of any particular book: https://www.logos.com/wordsearch/catalog
Comments
- That's correct; once a Wordsearch book has been linked to a Logos book, the Logos title is shown on that page. (This doesn't provide an easy way to see what the Wordsearch title for that Book ID is.)
- The same title can be listed multiple times if there was more than one way it could be acquired in Wordsearch. For example, 0:36 is Thru the Bible (complete series), 0:37 is Thru the Bible (OT), 0:38 is Thru the Bible (NT). In other cases, they are different editions, e.g., 0:4866 and 0:15585 are different editions of the Reformation Study Bible. There are other scenarios, too. You can ask questions here about specific Book IDs you want to know more about.
Hi Bradley,
It took a bit for me to find it but I "Think" this is what I saw and referred to above.
Obviously My memory and interpretation is a bit faulty [:$]
Non the less, I believe that using "New" is Tes's best option to find WordSearch additions to his Logos library (and yes I understand that you did not imply that it wasn't [;)]
Thanks again for all the great work you and your team are doing right now.
EDIT: I just realized that the Post I tried to find was a response to an earlier post by Tes... synchronicity?
Here is the list of books that I copied from WORDsearch to my clipboard:

These came from a freeware version of WORDsearch that I found online.
If you never registered these licenses with Wordsearch, then they were not part of the database we acquired.
Please read heading 6 "Your licenses were never backed up to Wordsearch’s servers" at https://blog.wordsearchbible.com/2020/09/24/9-reasons-you-might-not-see-your-books-yet-and-what-to-do-about-it/ and follow the instructions there.
Bruce,
About two weeks or so ago I contacted LOGOS Support and asked about it.
The guy I CHATted with said I could send my Backup File and the TXT file that WORDSearch creates of all the unlocked
Books in my WORDSearch Library. I did just that and so far most of my books have migrated to LOGOS. Intitially I had over
2500 Books and/or Volumes in WORDSearch. So far everything except 300 or so Books have not transferred over, but I do
believe from what I've read and what Bradley told me it will be at least the end of the year. The only one I really miss is the
Bundle by Rod Mattoon (that is his "Treasures of the Bible" Commentaries) Cannot wait to get that one migrated. Then I will
be a happy camper...
Good Luck.....
Mark
Bradley
Thanks to Logos for the individual migration page.
Am I right in assuming that:
1. The titles (in blue) on the migration page are the Logos titles of the relevant book in Wordsearch and
2. There are likely to be duplicates on the list or would these be different editions?
I have only just started to go through my library. I figured there would need to be a number of updates to occur before a reasonable number came across.
My apologies in advance if you have answered these questions but I have not been able to find a reference on the faq page or quickly scanning above.
Colin

I honestly don't remember.
Does that mean they won't transfer?
If so, then they won't transfer. Faithlife bought the WordSearch part of Lifeway's business, but not the eBooks part. They will continue to be readable not only in the Wordsearch software but also in Lifeway's online eBook-Reading site.
Have joy in the Lord!
Thank you for letting me know that the latest update happened. I still do not have any of my WORDsearch library migrating and the WORDsearch website shows 184 products owned under "my library." I was still working things out when the first batch(es) moved but now that things have been worked out on the WORDsearch end, what can be done to begin seeing volumes in my Logos account?
Check your library at https://read.lifeway.com/library
That shows the books that were obtained from Lifeway instead of Wordsearch. You may have duplicate licenses for some of the same books in Wordsearch, but it may give an idea of how many books show as Lifeway.
If you have Wordsearch desktop, you can see the type of license on the library report.
I still do not have any of my WORDsearch library migrating ... what can be done to begin seeing volumes in my Logos account?
You don't have any Wordsearch licenses on your Logos account. The most likely reason is that you used a different email for Logos and Wordsearch. This can be resolved by calling Customer Service.
For other possible reasons (and ways to fix them), please see https://blog.wordsearchbible.com/2020/09/24/9-reasons-you-might-not-see-your-books-yet-and-what-to-do-about-it/
It looks like your customer account wasn't in the first batch (was it created very recently?), so another import is required on our end to link them up. This may take a few days or weeks; we'll post back when it's done.
Things got ironed out in terms of the existence of my Wordsearch customer account on October 6th. I had had an account (or so I thought) prior to that but that, like I say, is when everything got ironed out.
Your Wordsearch licenses should be available in Logos now. To check, visit https://www.logos.com/wordsearch/library-migration
That's the problem, I don't have any proof of purchase for these books as these were installed more than 10 years ago, since the start of nav press to wordsearch and quickverse... and for how many time I change my computer and formatted it... I cannot provide any proof of purchase for these... I hope you can find other solution... that means i have to start again to build my library to logos...-;(

I suggest that you better ask Michael Lechtenberger who was formerly working in quickiverse as a Teck later in wordsearch and now in Faithlife. I know him he is the best skilled technician I know.He was a great help for me in quickverse and Wordsearch. Please ask him let him give you the final word.
Blessings in Christ.
Bradley,
Having been a Quickverse, then WORDSearch user for about 20 years have looked
forward with expectation to many years with a program like LOGOS. However, I have
noticed a difference in my Migration page. Several books toward the end of the page have
recently disappeared from the listing.
The big one that is missing is my College Press NIV New Testament Commentary. It was there
in the listing prior to the announcement about LOGOS 9 but now has disappeared. With nearly
5,000 books in my Library, I'm not surprised that 1 or 2 slipped through the cracks so to speak, but
would like to know happened to my NIV Commentary on the New Testament.
For some strange reason, LOGOS gave me or migrated (whatever) the College Press Introduction
to the NIV New Testament but deleted or failed to Migrate the Entire set of NIV COmmentaries on
the New Testament. Please tell me this is a simiple mistake. Why migrate just the introduction. I
have been using this set from WORDSearch for years.
When this migration started I sent LOGOS my Backup File of my WORDSearch Library with a text
file generated by WORDSearch listing all my books in my library at the time. Hoping you can insure
that this situation can be settled and eventually my missing books properly migrated.
Thanks,
Mark Johns

This should be correctly aligned now, and the CP NIV NT volumes will be available in your Logos library.
Thanks Bradley!
This is like XMAS come early! Yeah
Ho..Ho..Ho.....

Hello, for some reason Charles Hodge's commentary on 1 Corinthians (Book ID 0:861 )downloaded as an Ebook. Is it possible to get the Logos Research edition instead? His other commentaries I owned on WS downloaded as Logos Research editions.
Logos Series X Pastor’s Library | Logos 3 Leader’s Library | 4 Portfolio | 5 Platinum | 6 Feature Crossgrade | 7 Essential | 8 M & W Platinum and Academic Professional | 9 Academic Professional and Messianic Jewish Diamond
The WS resources are shipping first as Faithlife Ebooks, then being upgraded to Logos Research editions. For more information, see: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/193938/1117970.aspx#1117970

Hodge's 1 Corinthians commentary is already a Logos Research resource.
I'll check with our content department, but An Exposition of the First Epistle to the Corinthians (in Logos) has different content to A Commentary on 1 Corinthians (in Wordsearch), which is why they aren't linked.
Since the other three volumes in this series are linked, I've linked this one to the Logos Research edition, too.
(If that turns out to be incorrect, we'll re-link all four of them to new Logos resources.)
Hi, Bradley I was wondering, I have quite a few books that says in progress. Is there a time line? I just want to make sure that I am not buying any books that I already own. Logos doesn't always show the books that I own, especially when it is a set. Thanks!!!! I am waiting because I have a descent size library in Wordsearch.
We don't have a specific timeline for any resources, but we are trying to prioritise the ones customers reported as being important in this thread: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/195163.aspx
The Logos.com store should recognise any Wordsearch ownership you have (even if the file isn't available) and provide dynamic pricing on any set.
